Astragraphia Document Solution, 12 May 2023 – The 2023 Photojournalist Award Night (APFI 2023) was successfully held at Surabaya Square, East Java. APFI is the highest and most prestigious award event for photojournalists in Indonesia. Indonesian photojournalists' interest and enthusiasm to record the best moments for APFI is increasing every year. PFI National Chairperson Reno Esnir explained, APFI 2023 had selected 2,512 submitted photo works produced by 300 journalists from all over Indonesia. "The jury chose the 13 best photos from 7 categories," said Reno. For 12 hours, the jury chose the 13 best photos from 7 categories. The organizing committee also invited all Award recipients to the city of Surabaya to receive the APFI trophy. All photojournalistic works from PFI will be exhibited and can be viewed by public visitors starting from 12 May – 18 May 2023.

We consistently show our gratitude to all photojournalists in Indonesia by printing this year's APFI Book with the highest quality through our core business unit Document Solutions. We print this book on a Fujifilm Revoria Press PCTM 1120 printer, which combines single-pass printing technology and 6 special colors to improve print quality and bring these photojournalists to life. Furthermore, the availability of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology can make the color hue on prints richer and more complex.

Guslan Gumilang, a photo reporter for the Jawa Pos newspaper in Surabaya, was chosen as the Photo of the Year winner. Guslan photographed one of the victims of the Kanjuruhan stadium football tragedy in Malang, East Java. PFI Surabaya (Best Management Award) and PFI Solo (Best Performance Award) won the PFI City Award category. The PFI Kota Award recognizes PFI Kota officials who have made significant contributions and achievements in the previous year. Congratulations to all of the winners, and here's hoping that Astragraphia and PFI can continue to collaborate in synergy and build long-term relationships.
